I chose a path in graphic design because it combines the practices of visual art and communication. The world of marketing offers a way to thread my love of writing and art together into a directly impactful medium.

After interning at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, I launched my professional design career at a marketing agency for small businesses. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of taking on bigger and bigger projects at AdvanceCT, the economic development organization for Connecticut.

This past July, I was given the opportunity to participate in CreativePro Week in Washington D.C., where I expanded my knowledge of tips and tools in InDesign, got inspired by unique Illustrator workflows, and indulged in an abundance of free paper samples.

I work with people who care about what they do and what they put into the world. My goal is to help connect people to people, to places, to services, to products that will bring at least a little more meaning to their lives.
